For those of you who've missed it, the Cartoon Cakes challenge will be on again tomorrow (Sat) at 5:00 Central time. MAN! That was a cool show! I'm still trying to figure out how they stacked the Scooby tower without it falling over!

I thought the contest was filmed in Florida at Universal Studios.

If those characters are owned by Universal then they wouldn't have had a problem.

I watched that whole show and when they said they'd announce the winners right after these messages - I fell asleep! I didn't get to see who won!

The cakes were great! It was hot where they were filming - that's why they were having so much trouble with the modelling chocolate and fondant melting.

I loved the carton characters they created! I too was amazed on how they did the scooby one. I fell alseep too, so I did not get to see who won. I did record it with TIVO, so I will probably watch it tonight as I am making my daughter's cake.

Mike came first for the scooby doo cake and Bronwen came second for the popeye cake.

Debbie-

Olive ended up with an aluminum foil head after the rice krispie treats didn't work, but Bronwen had to take a hit on her points for it. I forget the exact terminology, but apparantly there is a rule about construction materials.

You can not make a copyrighted cake and sell it. There is nothing saying you can't make one at all.
