My second attempt at NFSC were practice cookies for a friend who is getting married in November. Made a batch and iced half with Antonia74's icing and the other half with Toba Garrett's glace icing. I prefer Antonia74's icing. It was easier to work with and it also looks nicer. Gave samples to my friend and she was sooo happy and loved them. Will now have to make about 150 for the wedding!
Sorry could not attach photos. They are in my photos. Please give me your honest opinions.

icon_eek.gif Stunning icon_eek.gif I love the ones in the bags. Are the cookies going to given as the favors? That's so cool.

They are beautiful! Nice, nice job!! I want to ask - i have tried Antonia's icing, but for some reason my icing did not have a shine and i cannot tell from your pictures if your lovely cookies had a shine. . .

Thanks a lot everyone. I had a lot of fun making them. Yes the cookies are going to be given out as favours. My 12 year old daughter helped design the packaging, there are hearts on the back, and we just stapled them to the bag.
Moraina - the icing had a nice shine. I read in a book to put cookies under a lamp when drying. Did that and it worked!

So pretty! I love using Antonia's icing. I love that you can decorate early and the cookies are still so good. And you don't break a tooth on the royal, even with the drop flowers!

The book said to use a heat lamp but I did not have one so I used a ordinary reading lamp. The heat from the bulb did the trick!
