Carved Chocolate Cake Recipe?

I have to carve a chocolate cake this weekend and was looking for a good recipe for chocolate that would not crumb so bad and hold it's shape? Advice?Tips? HELP!

I use pound cake for cakes that I have to carve. Why not try a chocolate one. Pound cakes are more dense.

I agree, most chocolate cakes have a tender, soft crumb, so a chocolate pound cake would your ticket.
