Everyone I Need Your Help!!!!!!!!!!!
Decorating By sarajohnson Updated 18 Oct 2006 , 12:04pm by spottydog
I'm going to be starting my own business and am wondering how do you make reciepts and price quota's to give to the customer that look proffesional? Can any of you share what you include in yours?
Also if there's anything else I should give to the customer or have them sign, or anything about delivery and set up, I know people mention taking pics and having someone sign for the cake?
ALso any sort of information you ask them when the order? Do you always give them a taste test? OR decorate a small "example"cake for them or can you just give them a sketch or idea?
Please all the help I can get I don't know anything about anything except how to decorate!! ![]()
Thank you!!!
I just actually had made a form for the recipient to sign at delivery. I am such a freak about covering my butt. It pretty much included:
1.Customer Recieved cake as ordered with no damage
2. Cake Company not responsible for cake after signiture at time of delivery
3.Customer has been furnished with a cutting chart
4. Customer Has been informed of any non edible items used in constucting & decorating cake ie: dowels ect.
5.Baked good may have traces of nuts, wheat ect
This pretty much gives an idea of what I include to cover myself. I just have customer sign and date bottom of contract. I guess you could make a laundry list if needed. LOL
