Big Cake Carriers!!

does anyone know if they have carriers for big cakes or dureable cake doxes?

how big of a cake? wilton has a rectangular one that holds a 9x13, 12 regular cupcakes or 24 minis. They also have a circular one that can accomodate a 10" (i think) round that's fairly high...

I kind of gave up on finding the cake carrier sizes that I needed so I started buying Rubbermaid or Sterlite containers for some of my cakes. I like using them because they can be reused over and over again.

I have used those containers. I buy the ones that are about 5 inches deep and have the flat lid. Then put the cake with the board on the inside lid and put the container on top. It really protects the cake very well. Sometimes it's not the best looking but, if your goal is to get a large cake from one place to another, it works great.

have you thought about just using large boxes?? uline has some nice white boxes that wouldn't look totally like you pulled out a shipping box and stuck a cake in it.......then you wouldn't have to worry about getting them back either!!!
