Oh, i've had other fondant, but i stick with my opinion...for some reason I really like the Wilton....i couldn't stop eating it!!!
No, your not a freak! I have a couple of friends who really like the Wilton fondant too.....I personally like the MMF better, but then again people sometimes call me a freak because I cannot stand chocolate and peanut butter together!

My SIL loves the Wilton fondant. For me I don't think it is bad or nasty. To me it really doesn't have a big taste, just sweet.
oh my gosh...I didnt know anyone liked Wilton Fondant....heck even my 5 year old niece refuses to eat it (she LOVES MMF)........guess there really IS a reason its still on the shelves...LOL....I can't talk...havent met a fondant that I like (something about chewing my icing bothers me) but I think MMF is tolerable...to me Wilton tasted like chemicals...but to each their own

You would get along very well with my 3 year old. She would eat a whole container of sour cream if I would let her.
You're not alone ge978. I've never done MMF but I've found if you add a little flavor to the Wilton stuff (almond is my fav) that it is scrumptious.(I need a smily licking his lips) My 5yr old son will eat it, flavored or plain. He thinks the different colors are different flavors so insists on sampling them all. Oh the sourcream thing, everything you listed off sounded wonderful, except the pickles, but I don't care for pickles.
