i just made chocolate buttercream icing using cocoa powder and it wasn't as dark brown as I wanted it. I added brown gel paste coloring and it still isn't dark enough. Can anyone tell me how to get a dark brown buttercream?
I always had this issue also until I used the "Bittersweet Chocolate Frosting" in the recipe section of CC. Its a nice dark color and doesn't require any food coloring which just seems to make it bitter.
