Can someone recommend a starting inventory of cake pans? I have a pan set which includes one 6x2, 8x2, 10x2, 12x2. I also have a 12x18 sheet pan. I don't want to have too many pans but feel I am lacking some or need duplicates of ones I already have. Thanks for your input.
I would at least get some doubles of the round pans, that way you can bake 2 layers at the time. Maybe get one more size sheet pan, like a 9x13 or 11x15.

Our inventory is based on what we need to fill an order. Since we have received more request for square, that is what we have most of.
That and we have a ton of character pans. You may want to purchase as you need them so that your inventory matches the request of your customers. Just a thought.

I like the 3" pans I think they make an impressive sheet cake. I would also recommend getting a couple of the squares and maybe even one of the ball pans. You can do alot more than you know with the balls. I am thinking of adding a new character pan to my inventory soon (I have been trying to limit these to the multi purpose ones). I have seen so many things done with the litte heroes pan. I would love some imput on everyones thoughts on this pan.
