Can you actually believe that I had to turn down a cake order??? I never thought the day would come. Sunday one of my Bridal customers came over to discuss her wedding cake. She brought the groom with her. After we figured out what she wanted for her wedding cake, she began to talk about a Groom's cake. Well, I have 3 wedding cakes due in the same month that she is getting married and considering I also have a full time job, I had to talk her out of getting a Groom's cake. I just wouldn't be able to do it. She was talking about a cake to look like the head of Darth Vader. The groom was obviously NOT interested in the least in getting a Groom's cake. He didn't even seem much interested in talking about the wedding cake! LOL
Well, I never thought I would see the day when I had to turn away work. I think I've reached a new milestone with my cake decorating. Either that of I have just gotten lazy!! LOL
