Nickname While Cake Decorating.....

I don't have a nickname, but when my husband sees me on here he always says.....are you looking at Cake Porn AGAIN??????????????
I am soooo happy to know that I'm not the only one! I turn into Katie Kaboom when my back is against the wall and it is always against the wall cause I can never just bake. I try to make sure they are taken care of before I begin baking but no matter how much I try to prepare I am constantly interupted by my son and my hubby. I try to be nice in the beginning but towards the end of the day/night when I am really tired and still only half way done I get downright nasty. Yup I am Katie Kaboom to the son and hubby.
To the people I bake for I am the cake lady and to my partner I am the cake Nazi. When we meet with people to discuss big orders its like good cop bad cop. She is very understanding and accomodating and I am less so. I usually get this obsurd urge to jump up pound the table and say "NO cake for you!"
Although I must say that icing beotch is far more original

with the addiction to this site you would think it IS cake porn!!! I'm going to use that when my daughter interupts me to try to use my puter.... 
Mu hubby has been wondering why the huge bottle of gray goose is out when I am decorating................. I told him I paint and glue with it.... HA HA he tells everyone I drink when I am decorating. I have never taken even a sip but its pretty funny.
I don't really have a nickname (yet!) At least not to my face but I do always get the "are you looking at cake porn again" by my husband. My 15 year old always just says I "have to much time on my hands" when he comes home to another cake.... yeah right with running after the 2 year old!
Wow! And I thought my husband was the only one to use the term "Cake Porn!" I'll have to tell him he has a kindred spirit out there.

It's different when he's looking at his woodworking stuff.......I haven't called it Wood Porn yet. In fact, I think that might be VERY WRONG. lol
Yep, I think we all get the cake lady label . I wish they'd come up with something more creative!
I love to hear I'm not the only cake natzi - we joke about that one here, since I only do this as a hobby and so I am VERY picky about who I do and do not do cakes for. It's great that I can turn people down who are difficult or weird. "No cake for you!!!"
I haven't got a nickname but I got my sister (twin) hooked on decorating cakes. Everytime we bake together the family starts calling us "Die Suiker Sussies" which is Afrikaans for "The Sugar Sisters". BTW my sister just registered as a CC member today "Laurar" and posted her first picture of the violen cake we did last night - we have done a few others together though. I'm so proud of her!! Well after I pick up decorating (I do a ton of crafts) my DH and all our friends starting calling me..............what for it.............MINI MARTHA.

I don't do cakes on a regular basis anymore like most of you, but when my kids were little they used to call me 'Yummy Mummy' because they would get all the trimmed tops to my cakes.
My oldest son mentioned that it's not fair I get to look at cake'porn' but he can't look at his porn! (he's an adult, not a child, most days!).
My DH who was scarred for life after one cake disaster(see my posts) now refers to the whole process as cake hell. He actually told his boss , He will never have to worry about me doing drugs as long as I can get my highs off of the excitement of cake orders. Now all of our friends want to know if we are free for the weekend or if I am in Cake Hell.
Mine was Patrice's Pieces...also called tasty cakes by all the guys at work. I'm always trying new recipes out on them!!
