I am trying to figure out how to put two half soccer pan cakes together to make a pumpkin. I want it to stand up and not sure how to do it so it doesn't come apart.

i made a little pumpkin last year using the wilton sports ball pans.....i simply used a layer of buttercream in between and a dowel or 2 through it.....it's pretty small and had no trouble with it staying together.....i've also made a basketball, baseball, etc using this.....my only advise is to make sure your pans are full enough to bake to the top.....it's a lot better to have to trim down your ball halves than to not have them be big enough and your ball look squished
