Find your way around here? For example: My mom (one of my biggest fans) has joined CC as a lurker, and she'd like to just go straight to my Photos but she can't with out searching through all of the photos until she finds one she recognises. I also have mant CCer's that I'd like to see what they have come up with but I don't know how to find them. I've tried to search by name but it doesn't seem to work.

And finding certain things that I am sure have been discussed. I feel like a fool having to post a new forum( not unlike this oneicon_smile.gif Just to find an answer that I'm sure is out there if I only had a brain.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you know the user name, you can go their profile and find a link to their gallery where all their photos are posted. On any message posted by that member is also a link to their photo gallery and their profile.

On the top of this page you see the link for "memberlist". Just type in the member name you are looking for and you'll easily be able to find what they've made & come up with.
And for forum topics already discussed you just goto the "search" link at the top of the page and type in the information you're looking for. HTH

Also once you enter the Forums tab, use the Search link to search the forums for topics you would like info on. It can be challenging because if you enter too few search terms you may get too many results, but I have found a lot of info previously posted this way, thus avoiding duplicating a thread.

If you were looking up how to paint luster dust onto I'd look up paint+luster+dust and start sifting thru threads (OK that is a bad example since there's a sticky on luster dust but you get the idea!).

Here's what the above page takes you to: http://forum.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-forums-search.html . Look over the page and you'll see that it offers lots of ways to limit your search.

[Keep in mind this function was not working when I was surfing earlier today, so if you encounter a problem it's probably a temporary glitch.]
