Hi,

My neighbor has asked me to make a cake for her daughter with frosting like you get in the grocery store. She's tried my BC (Wilton) and it's not what she wants. She's looking for that really thick, sweet frosting... not the whipped kind. Does anyone have any suggestions... the couple searches I've tried seem to be for the whipped stuff.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, the whipped frosting is Rich's Bettercreme.

Not familiar with a really thick sweet frosting that grocery stores use..

It might be if you could provide more info that you would get a better response to your question.

Some of the Sam's Clubs use Dawn Buttercream frosting.... but I've never read where any of the CC members thought it matched your description. icon_sad.gif

Try finding out which grocery store she's talking about. Sample their icing or better yet, see if they will sell you a bucket full!
