If the woman who wants the cake is your friend, she will understand when you tell her you do not feel right doing this cake. You MUST go with your gut feelings on this.

Lisa, when my Grandson was born we were told that he had a genetic disorder and would die before his first birthday. We were told that he would die probably withen the first month. Everyone treated him as if he were like any other baby, and that was exactly what my daughter needed. He died when he was 41 days old. So take it from someone who knows any thing you do that comes from your heart will touch the mothers heart . And it helps to get through this very tough time. Good Luck and God Bless you with what ever you do...

I saw the twinkie box cake in the gallery. A very good compromise, I think. Keep us posted, please!

Yup I spoke with her and the mom is home and goes to visit daily. She is going to leave her the cake at her home and not the hospital. Hope all goes well.

Thanks again everyone!

Spottydog-

Saw the cake in the gallery and all I can say what a touching cake. Funny how just a box of Twinkies can bring tears to your eyes. Bless you for all your time, effort and caring you put into that cake.

Hi Elfie.....Thanks so much as the reply I left you in the pic comments. This will be left for the new mom at her home for when she gets home tonight from visiting the babies. I really hope this will make her smile even if for a min. Who can't smile at the goofy twinkie cowboy!
