How do I tell which Crisco I have? This box lists 90 cal for 2 tsp? and 10g of fat. If it's the new kind what would I look for? thanks icon_confused.gif

The 'new' crisco has a label on the front that reads No TransFats.

not all of the new crisco can's have the label on the front. You will need to look at the nutrition label and look for the transfat line. If it has 0g then it is the new kind.

Thanks for the tips. I'll have a closer look. I didn't see anything but didn't have that much time because I had my hubby pushing the cart at the grocery store. icon_rolleyes.gif

I got some shortening today that is NOT trans fat free and I'll give it a try. Our Crisco has a bit of trans fat and I didn't see anything saying it was tf free.
