do you have to do the rounded edges? I like the look of the more squared off edges.

What ever edges you like. It just takes a little time and patience.

Before I switched to SMBC, I used to use crusting BC and used the Viva method but I would use computer paper to smooth it...same method...also you can fold the paper and use the crease to help make good clean edges...not perfect for me, but very helpful.

What exactly is SMBC and how is it different, better or worse then the crusting BC?
