I am doing my first bridal show this weekend. I have completed 5 cake dummies (one is in my photos) and have two more that need to be decorated, they have already been iced or covered in fondant. What do you guys think? Wish me lots of luck. I need to generate some business since I am just starting out.[/img]

These are all beautiful!! You need to wear your running shoes because you will be running to stock up on supplies once the show is over!!

I especially love the purple design. How did you do that?

Best of luck - you are very talented and have a great eye for colors!!

The purple one is covered in fondant and then I used a stencil I bought from Michaels and royal icing. Very time consuming but worth it in the end. I think it looks better in person than in the picture.

I don't know how long a choc wrap will last on a dummy. This is the first one I have done. icon_biggrin.gif Give me some time and I will let you know. I am hoping it will last a while. I will ahve to be careful tomorrow transporting it since it's been in the triple digits here I don't want it to melt. I will make sure to cool off the car before transporting it.

Beautiful. Your stenciling job is perfect! I wish I could figure out how to do it so perfectly without everything pulling apart.

Good luck! thumbs_up.gif

Beautiful work, great selection. I always take a groom's cake, also.
How about one with choc. design. I get fake strawberries and dip them in chocolate for my dummies. I have also been able to find alot of fake fruit to add to the displays. I love using them, very colorful. Many people think they are real fruit!
