Here is a link to a cake I did recently for my daughter's 2nd b-day. http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=805883

The corn stalks are made from gum paste and I piped lleaves w/RI. The tassels are dried gumpaste attached w/RI. The scarecrow is on a cross base made from gumpaste for support. The head, body, and clothes are made of fondant and gumpaste. The straw is also gumpaste. If this is the look you're going for and have questions feel free to send me a private message.
