Find the model number and such on your stove and look in the yellow pages of the phonebook for appliance parts and repair. Call a few and ask about elements and tell them the make, model, etc of your stove and they'll tell you if they have a replacement. Most elecetric elements require a screwdriver to replace an element. Unscrew the old and screw in the new. Cost should be minimal and take about 15 mintues not including the drive time to get the element. Oh yeah, be sure the power to the stove is off or it is unplugged.
Ohhh no! I had this exact problem a while back. I had to pack up all my stuff and bake at SIL's house. Good luck! I hope you find an oven.
