I asked my DH about it and he said he would like to come. He's very supportive (and my worst critic at the same time). He says Duff is his "cake idol" !

The 16th is a pretty big bridal show, so I can't make the date , but am willing to travel at other times.

My husband would probably come, since he likes powdered sugar frosting and I don't make it.

Wow, I missed this thread too! I'm very excited about this and would love to attend. I live in the Raleigh area and would be happy to host something if we end up out here sometime.

I am all for bringing spouses. Mine is helping me pull all of this together. He has been lovingly named my sous chef (he got the idea from Geoff on Ace of Cakes )!!

What a great idea. Would you have room for another newbie? I'm in Greensboro and about an hour from everything. Sundays are good for me. A meet and greet is a great idea for our first get together.

Maybe we can bring some ideas to the table each week or areas that we struggle with and hopefully we'll have a master in the bunch that would volunteer to do a demo for the following week.
