Is this good enough to add to my portfolio? It was my very first tiered cake..... Please be completely honest!

How do you add pictures to this thing?

I like your cake and think it would be a shame not to use it for your portfolio.

Definitely. Very smooth icing, great edges, pretty color and your ruffle border is even and consistent. I really like the contrast of the pink base color with the white border and accents!

Absolutely put it in. I think it very respectable for a first tiered cake. Good job!
I keep photos in my portfolio of some of the first cakes I did ( we're talking 15 years ago) so that I can self evaluate my improvement over the years. It's also nice to be able to show your customers how you've improved so that they understand why good cake isn't cheap!

Absolutely...Great cake! Also, you will enjoy adding other pictures to your portfolio and watch how much you grow as a decorator. I still have the first "paid" cake I ever did as the first picture in my album!

If this is a portfolio for customers to see, I would only put your very best work in it. In my opinion the cake is beautiful, but it isn't your very best work. You could, however, include a little section with some of your first cakes for them to see. That way the design ideas would be represented, but people would know that your skills have improved.

I agree with fronklowes...I have don this in my portfolio. Your skills have developed and you want your customers to know this. You have some amazing cakes you have done after this one, but don't leave it out!
