Does anyone know if you can use pastry pride to make Roses? and if so can you use colors as well???

I have used Pastry Pride to do roses, figure piping.....anything you can do with buttercream you can do with Pastry Pride. Yes, you can color it...however, it does not hold the color as well. Where buttercream tends to get darker as it sets, Pastry Pride gets lighter. It really shows up if you do airbrush work. Unless you make it kind of dark it will fade to very pastel.
