Does anyone out there have a good petit four recipe and instructions. I have a request for them this weekend and the last and only ones I made did not turn out right.

Thanks

I'm sorry I do not have any recipes - but maybe this will give you a bump. I made cake squares for the first time 2 weeks ago (precut sheet cakes basically) and they were good, but just my normal cake recipes from the box w/white choc pudding. Good luck icon_smile.gif

You can use candy melts for coating, or a poured icing mixed with candy melts.

On the Wilton site, under the wedding section, there is more info for petit fours, and there are dozens of threads here about them.

Here is a site where you can go which has pictures, along with recipes, for the total preparation of petit fours. It is a reliable, professional site and I garner many tips from this site.

Hope this helps!

Southern Living has a good recipe. You might have to register at their site, but their recipes tend to be pretty good anyway.
