How do you make a topsy turvy cake? I have seen pictures of these and just love them! I would love to make one but i have no clue where to start. Ist there a certain pan you use or do you cut the cakes in that shape? Thank you in advance for your help!!!

I haven't made oneyet but I am going to try this week. I'm going by theses instructions:

I made one using CC's instructions and it worked out really well!!!

I used the instructions right here on Cake Central for the one and only topsy turvy I made. (Pic in photo album) I made a few variations on the construction aspect, but basically the same. It was basically a cake I made to see if I could do it. Just for family. It was pretty stressful, but everyone loved it. At the time, I swore I would NEVER make another. But, quite some time has passed and I'm ready to give it another try! Good luck with yours!

Thank you to everyone who helped me! I don't have a reason yet to make one of these cakes but when I do I will!!! I will be sure to postpictures too!!
