Has anyone tried the Satin Ice fondant and if so what are your thoughts on it?
I am new to fondant and would just love to tried it on a cake I am making for thanksgiving. I have heard Satin Ice has very good fondant.
Please advise.

It is good, that is what Duff uses.... Everyone has there favs, some like Fondx, some mmf, some, satin ice, some, pettenice, some rollled butter cream... Depends on what you are using it for.

Satin ice is good for cake covering, I find it a bit sticky for molding figures, tastes good

Thank you for your response. You are right Duff on "Ace for Cakes" does use the same product. I guess I'd have to try the ones you have mentioned as well, then find my favorite.

Hello, Satin Ice is the only fondant that I use, I think it is very tasty and easy to work with.
