OK, so I know this is nowhere near what everyone else here is capable of but I am coming along slowly. Anyway, my 9 year old grandson loved it. He had 9 boys sleep over for his birthday; that's his sister and their doggie on bottom bunk. He said there was only one thing wrong with it - no one was going to be sleeping.
I forgot to bring the bag of chocolate bc to cover top cake board once assembled.

Now, about your comment regarding your capabilities -- Isn't it funny how we are always our own worst critics? Rembember, we all start at the beginning, and with time and practice, we all end up at the same destination.

This is superb! Ive said this before but these are some seriously cool childhood memories we are making here people! Your grandson will remember it when he is an old man!
My Mum was never a great cake decorator but I remember being home from school sick and waking up from my afternoon nap to a banana loaf with icing and a plastic ballerina in to top right next to my bed. A warm fuzzy memory I will remember till the day I die.
