Okay so not too long ago there was a thread going around about avatars. It came up that many folks around here don't like it when people change their avatar because they recognize people by their avatars. But I just have to! I tried for awhile not to, but it is just a small joy in my life to change my avatar when I do a cake I like. So I am no longer the magic bunny lady...sorry. Hope you all don't mind too much! LOL!
ME??? That's silly...only maybe because I am here way too much. I think I am developing some cumulative trauma in my shoulders and neck from being on the computer so much. I am trying cut back! LOL!

I've been trying to cut back too, but have been unsuccessful. It's just not possible to stay away from CC!!!

I'm sorry but is it really necessary to start a whole new thread announcing that you have changed your avatar? I did not realize the Queen was on Cake Central?
You know, I really try to be nice all the time here, but I just have to say this. Looking back at many of your posts, it seems like you enjoy provoking people. If you didn't like this thread, why didn't you just go back out of it and not respond at all?!?! Why do you enjoy making people upset?
Well I, for one, am glad she announced it. I try to always look at a person's name when they post, but I'll admit, the first thing I notice is the avatar.
I think it was Melvira that changed her's recently, for Harry Potter month, and man that threw me. haha
So, yes, I would say it was indeed necessary to start a thread announcing the avatar change. Especially, when it's significant people on the website.
Myself, I never announce it, because well, no need. 
I love the new avatar, and the cake. It's beautiful. I will miss the bunny, though.

I would like to change mine to but then the few people who know who I am would have no idea who I am, LOL.
Part of the fun here is getting to know everyone and being able to enjoy their sucesses and agonize over the disasters with them. I can't do that if I don't recognize people, I am horrible with names. : )

im one of those who learns people by their avatar! and cambo, yes i noticed when you changed yours too! it always throws me for a bit, but then i learn the new one! i've thought about changing mine, since now i have two little fuzzies not just one. but i can't get them both to hold still for a picture! LOL
