Hello,

Need some help.......a friend of mine asked me if I could make a cake for her daughter. She wants a "hollywood theme". I have no idea where to start.....any suggestions?? icon_cry.gif

You could do a great Marquis board of gumpaste with her name "Starring In" a fondant red carpet, with gumpaste rope and poles on each side of the carpet. If you wanted a younger theme you could do gumpaste red and white striped popcorn boxes with piped popcorn spilling out the tops and spelling out her name. A gumpaste clapboard, film reels, and an Oscar statuette. You can buy imitation Oscars from Sun Coast Motion Picture Stores, or you could mold one of chocolate.
