I've just been given a link to the Krinkles web-site which sells a few gorgeous cake stands, coming from the UK I've not seen anything like it before. I wondered if there are any more places that sell fantastic cake stands that I might be able to order from the UK. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Sadly it seems they don't ship to the UK, but I'd be happily corrected on this one.

Here are a couple of sites to look at. I have no idea about shipping, though:

Don't know how unusual these are:

Where are the cake stands on the Krinkles sites? All I see are tables! They are cool though, but I can't find any cake stands!

There's some cake stands on the hallowe'en section and in the Christmas section under 'for the home' she's calling them cake plates not stands.

Department 56 always has some cute cake plates . . . there's a new one on their website thats got santa boots for the pedestal and the dome has a belt on the bottom . . . so the whole setup looks like santas pants. I got one thats dogs holding up the plate . . . wearing party hats . . . the animal hospital i work at gave it to me for my last birthday. www.department56.com

I have three cake plates by Patience Brewster made for Dept. 56 line called Krinkles. A glass domed Christmas plate, the red shoe plate and now the witches shoe plate. I love all of them, they are unique and very good quality. Look for them on eBAY, but remember that the selling cost directly from Dept. 56 is $85.00 for these plates so I wouldn't go above that. I got the witches plate on a "buy it now" feature for $65.00 plus shipping, a good price. The red shoe plate is in my avatar here.

Not sure if this link will work but I have all of my cake plates in an album on my kodak gallery site if you should care to see them.

i love tracy porter's stuff, i had a chance to take one of her lamps home for a steal, we were at a national turkey federation auction, but the couple sitting with us was bidding on it too, so i thought better of bidding against them, seeing as we all came with the same friends & they had paid for all of our tickets. man i hate being nice--i loved that lamp icon_sad.gif

i love different thins & i can't wait to check out these sites

Thanks a lot guys, now you made me go and look on eBAY and I bought the Santa Boots Dept. 56 plate! I keep telling myself I won't buy any more cake plates because I just don't have room to store or display them, but this is so cute I just had to have it.

Oh I love that Kringles collection.
Lord & Taylor sold the ornaments and some accessories last year. Maybe they'll have them up again soon?
(This probably doesn't help for our UK friends though).
