Wonderful cakes!!! So many ideas to gather from them. Weirkd, I love your toile cake. How on earth did you do that??? I've 3 cakes that are my favorites.... first one because it's my daughter's wedding cake, second one because it was my entry in the one and only competition I've ever entered, and the last because I was able to do the cake and then decorate it and the table with heirloom roses from the bride's garden, that IMHO made the cake pop ( I LOVE heirloom roses!!!)

I agree! Those are such beautiful cakes! I really like the texture on that blue bow especially...I don't know how that's done but it's very nice.

This is not my best but my fave at the moment. I had so much fun with this one! Certainly not your typical wedding cake! This wedding was a BALL! The colors were so vibrant and the reception had burlesque feel to it. I have never been too wild about having real ribbon on my cakes but that's what she asked for. My BC skills are still lacking but getting better. I banned myself from fondant until I could do something with BC besides eating it. My butt and hips thank me for it!
