Do the attachments fit ALL KAs? I have a stand mixer with the screw in bowl--will any screw in bowl work for any of the screw in bases? ie will the 4qt bowl work for the 5qt mixer?

Thinking about ordering a bowl from the refurb area on the KA site--soo much cheaper.

I think so. I know I use my old bowl with my new mixer - but I think they were the same model.

I have both those bowls and they work fine.......

Before you buy it, check out KA's web site and get part numbers. I have an Accolade and bought the $150 Artisan for a back up hoping the bowl would fit for an extra. It doesn't, nor do the beaters. Apparently, Accolades have their own line of bowls and beaters and some of the other models do as well.

However, it's my understanding the attachments like meat grinders, can openers, etc. are interchangable for different models. The screw part on the top where the attachments fit is a standard size and fit all.
