The cake looks great. Very nice shade of red.
Cute cake! One question...about the foam roller for smoothing bc...I missed that. Anyone have the link? The cake is sooooooo smooth! Great job!
Amy
I don't have the link, but she said it is a regular foam paint roller, think she said she got a 6" one. I haven't gotten to try it yet, but it worked great on this cake.
Try putting "foam roller" or something along that line in a search, it might come up for you. Janice

Too cute!
Melvira was the one who posted the tip about the foam paint roller.
Isn't it the greatest thing EVER!??! I swear I could not smooth buttercream to save my life before I tried the roller. I feel like I should be in debt to her somehow now LOL!
lol...the red was something else....i used 1 and 1/2 1 oz tubs of wilton red gel...a little dab of orange and coco powder...when i added the coco i would add a little bit and then wait a few mins before i added more so that i wouldnt get too much..then added a little dab of orange at the end....i had a rough time with that red until feefs came to my rescue last night.
