How many of you have the Playdoh Fun Factory and use it for fondant ribbons and such? I was thinking of buying one, but wanted some feedback first.

Thanks for any help!

I love my fun factory!! The first one I had broke....went looking for antoher one and had a really hard time. None of the major stores had any....not ever Toys R US. I finally found some at Dollar General. The one by my house had tons of them. I should have bought more than one.

I haven't used mine much but it has worked great for what I have tried. I used it for the hair on my gumball baby in my photos. I also used it to make the letters on my school cake. I am sure it will work for other things as well but haven't played with it too much yet.

I purchased one a little while ago I used it once and went out and bought a clay gun IMO the plastic is just to weak mine kept on pulling apart no matter how soft I made the fondant. I wish I would have just bought the clay gun first and saved my $6.00.

Cool I have looked a playdough and wondered if I could use it for fondant but never had the nerve to try. I thought I was soooo inovative and original . . . thanks for posting. Now I gotta go out and find a fun factory . . .

Joann's here in Georgia has them, so you should be able to find it at the Joann's up there too. icon_smile.gif
