How many inches represents a layer of cake. I need to create a dummy for a 2 layer and 3 layer cake. I usually bake in 2 inch pans. Can you help?

Most finished two layer cakes finish at about 4". Standard cake dummies are 4" high.

Hey pinkflamingo. Usually dummy cakes are 3-4" high on each tier. I prefer the 4" but it depends on the effect you want. Hope this helps!
