Sorry for the pic delay. Had to buy more latches and couldn't do it until yesterday. The blue kitchen is the before (can you tell?!) It's a small, post WWII house and the kitchen is 8'x12'. I did have drawers but snapped this pic just before the demo began. The new one is my favorite color, green, and done in the Craftsman style. DH made all the cabinets back in November. Did the demo on Jan 1, after we had gone to the Rose Parade 
and the rest is kitchen history. The cupboards on the right side are not as deep as the left side so I would have more room to move around. It is really glorified storage that I had not had before and all my cakey stuff is there. We did the tile with Craftsman Series tiles. DH bought me new appliances. This is our first real dishwasher...our three other ones have all moved out 
So...anyway, here it is. Thanks to all of you who have been excited along with me during this project!

I can't even tell you how blest I am! My DH is very talented and a true craftsman. Plus, he's fun to work with! The horror stories I've heard about couples going for the juglar during remodeling just didn't ring true with us. It will be our 32nd wedding anniversary on Thursday and we are still best friends (and all the other good stuff) that goes along with being devoted to each other and I thank the good LORD everyday for him. This is the second remodel he has done for me on this house. The first was to add a master suite and bath on where our old bedroom was. Yup, he's one in a million!
