Okay...it only took me about 6 hours to do them, but here they are...backyardigans in space (nancy, if you are reading this I think you should do the PIGS IN SPACE from the muppet show! LOL)

So here are my entries...I will start with the Astronauts floating in space.

Next are my communication specialists Tyrone and Tasha...I think these two are my favorites.

Then comes my least favorite ....the space shuttle. I was tired and this was the last cookie I did, so it got the least effort.

oh, they are all sugar cookies with royal icing.....I think 13 different colors in all.....I thought I was never going to quit mixing colors! LOL

Those are great! My nephew has made me watch this show with him a few times, you did a wonderful job capturing them.

I really hope I can join in on the fun next month. I look forward to it. icon_smile.gif

I've been very remiss at looking and commenting this month. ( Guess I just "spaced out" --hahaha---sorry, old hippie term that applies here)

Sorry to cram everyone into a list----you all deserve special attention for your entries! ( Can you tell I have sibling issues?)

freddyfl---Wow!!! As always, really great work. ( And, I know how time consuming mixing all those colors can be. What a pain.) Those little guys are so cute, but since I have a snotty teenager, I have no idea who they are. But I love 'em anyway.

KimAZ---Love your rocket cake!! So neat, clean, and well made. My favorite parts are the flames and smoke!!

MahalKita---Your Darth Vader cookie is very cool. My grown boy (husband) loves it and wants it!

adven68-- The zodiac cake is AMAZING!!! Beautiful!!! That topper blew my socks off.
( Man, does your client go this nuts on all her kid's birthdays?---wait 'till you do Sweet 16 !!!)

chefcindy---R2D2 never looked cuter!!! He/she/it was my favorite Star Wars character. That was alot of work!

brilandken----Love your rocket, planet sheet cake. I'll bet every kid loved picking off those little perimeter planets to eat. Perfect cake for five year- olds.

If I forgot anyone---yell at me!!! I want to see!!

Melvira---Our SPACE (cadet) LEADER!!!! When do we get to see your entry???
( I'll get around to mine one of these days----got two weeks left---are there procrastinators in space?)

You guys are incorrigible! I'll tell ya where I've been! A suburb commonly known as 'Intense Pain City'!! I wish I were kidding. I got kidney stones and had to have surgery this morning! Ugh! The good news is that I am currently visiting a nice little place that I like to call the corner of Vicodin Road and Darvocet Avenue!! The trees are nice and fluffy and blue here, and the air is clean and tastes like lemonade. icon_wink.gif Yahhh... she's stoned out of her gourd! Sorry guys, I really want to make something, but I've even turned down the paying work for a few days. Maybe by Saturday I will be up to it. And if not, I'll probably do it anyway and curse you pushy people the whole time! Kidding!! icon_wink.gif "Hey... honey... when can I have my next pill???"

WOW, WOW, WOW... That´s all I could say for like 5 minutes straight while looking at your cookie. That is one of the most beautiful pieces of edible art I´ve seen to date. I would love to know how to do one of those. Are you thinking of a tutorial in the future????

Geat cookies and cakes everybody!!

Here is the space cake I did for my nephew's birthday. It was the first tired cake I did. The kids all wanted to eat the globe and I had to say NO cuz it was foam! Next time it is RKT for sure!! I think this was my first tiered cake too.

Freddy your backyardigans are so cute!! I love the shuttle!

Nancy yours is unbelievable--I am still maintaining that you need to make a coffee table book!

MahalKita - Darthvader is awesome I can almost hear the imperial march!! I see what you mean about the white.... maybe almost black then it would still be easy to see over a same color outline!

KimAZ - Your rocket looks like it should be in the Wilton Idea book! Very proffesional and FUN!!

Adven68 I love the starburst and swirl groupings!! Wow! Are your wedges cake or foam?

Okay think I got everybody who posted in the thread!!

Great idea for a topper. So what DID you use to color that top tier border?
( I just bought some all-natural food coloring myself---but haven't tried it out yet in my royal. Man, it's expensive!!!)

Honey_Cakes----Love the alien baby cupcakes! Very wacky adorable and so well done.
