I have been trying to learn new techniques and have a few questions.
I have noticed several mentions of fbct...i am assuming these are frozen buttercream transfers....where do i get the transfers? and edible images?
tryin to make my life a little easier...lol
help please!

FBCT's you make yourself. You take a picture and lay something like wax paper over it and trace the image with BC and fill it it with BC and then put it in the freezer then transfer it to the cake.. http://www.cakecentral.com/article12-How-To-Create-a-Frozen-Buttercream-Transfer.html this is a link to the how-to article here on Cake Central.

Edible images I know nothing about, but I think some grocery stores can make them for you if you don't have the technology.. HTH's a little. icon_biggrin.gif

You create FBCT transfers yourself using pictures you have found. Edible images can either be purchased from cake supply store/companies or created using an edible image printer which uses food-grade ink. I believe there is a tutorial in regards to the FBCT.
