When you open your picture folder right click the picture you want to resize, then there will be a drop down menu go down to "open with" another drop down menu will come up with a list of all the programs that you can use to edit your photos or view them etc. See if you have "Microsoft Photo Editor" click that, your photo will open in a new window, Now click, "view" and then click "resize". You'll get a nice funky looking box with numbers n such etc. Down on the right hand side of the little box is the measurement box, click the little arrow and you'll get a menu of choices, click the "pixel" one.
Next, up on the top left corner of the little box will be two numbers, one big one, and one small one.
Make the big number 2200 or less, click ok and your picture will become smaller in the display, click save. x out of the editor back to your picture files and you are ready to rumble. You can then post it in the gallery or if you want it smaller just repeat the above procedure til you get it the size you want. If you want to save the original size just do a "save as" and it'll save a copy for you in the right size.
