Cakes Won't Come Out Of The Pan... Help !!!!

My Mom and I baked this cakes yesterday for a party tomorrow I'm supost to get them decorated tonigth (14", 10" and two 6") I'm such a dummie y put my bowls full of icing on the cakes ( they still in the pans ) now I go to pour simple syrop on them and they don't come out !!!! What do I do PLEASE tell me there is hope for me !!!What do I do PLEASEEEE!!!!

You can try acouple of things. Try CAREFULLY warming the bottom of the cake pan-I have used a griddle pan on a stove burner to avoid burning the cake. Then holding the pan in one hand, tap the top edge of the other side of the pan. turn the pan and tap the top rim some more. You should be able to feel the cake flop around in the pan. It should come out, once you have tapped it loose.

You could also slide a thin spatula round the edges-but you risk cutting or tearing the cake.
