College sports colors.....
Lips, high heel shoes, the girly stuff......
.....I've never seen dirty laundry or dishes in a cookie cutter......

Or, I'm sure they would love Choc chip, peanut butter - just plain old cookies - college kids are hungry!

How about ...

an armchair
a lamp
a television
a book
a stereo
a fish bowl
a throw pillow
a welcome mat
a potted plant

Oopsies... I am such a dork. I forgot to mention that the client (one of the girls' mother) spouted some ideas off along the lines of no boys, no drinking, no partying, no drugs... (in a playful manner)... or chores that the girls have to share... I am at a loss on how to do something like that....

Thanks for the quick replies! I especially love the dirty laundry idea! And the welcome mat is a great idea too!

Heehee. I feel like i'm talking to myself... icon_rolleyes.gif

I thought maybe "Don't work TOO hard" would go well with all the cleaning stuffs. Any suggestions?

Somewhere I think I saw a cookie cutter of a broom. It was meant as a halloween thing, like a witch's broom, but it could go along with the cleaning theme. How about a bottle-shaped cookie like a window cleaner bottle, and say "Windows aren't JUST on the computer"? Or a rabbit cookie with a dust cap on its head and an apron and a rag in its hand, and label it Dust Bunny? Or a laundry basket with something to represent clothing in it, and label it Make a Fashion Statement (as in, go wash your clothes)?

Can't think of anything else... Good luck with this one!

how about "dishes are done man" - it's from a movie...

"Girls night out" for the shoes and lipstick cookies if you make them

what about popcorn and dvd cookies - "Girls night in"

dirty laundry "a woman's work is never done"

oh boy....I'm not too good with this either!!

"welcome to the real world" "Girls just want to have fun"

Or you could go with the MTV Real World type theme (if you've seen that show) and do a little story - "5 girls picked to live in a house where things stop being polite and start being real, The Real World "insert the town here"

Well...I'm all tapped out for things off the top of my head. Good luck and post pics!!

Jesseb - THAT IS AWESOME! I really love that "Real World" idea. I'll have to pass it along to the client.

Reading this brought back memories - when I went to college and I had a term paper or other project due it usually meant laundry time - the old stall tactic - do everything else possible before the paper (LOL)

How about something along the lines of tasks they don't teach you in class?

Or - Homework in the School of Life?

Ok so, I forgot about this post and I didn't post pics of the bouquet. I was going through all of my pictures on my computer and came across this bouquet and it brought back all of the helpful ideas everyone gave me. But despite all the help (which I am still so grateful for!), I was so disappointed w/it. I had finals to study for that week and I was in a crunch for time. Not my best by far! icon_cry.gif The client said her daughter and friends loved it though so I guess that's what counts.

Those are just awesome! When I read that you were disappointed with them and then scrolled down to see the photo, I thought "what is she disappointed with?". I love them and don't think I could do that. You should be proud of yourself!
