I just posted in the Cake Decorating Contest section, and thought maybe it won't get viewed there. So, has there ever been a cookie decorating contest? I'm amazed at what the people here have done with cookies, and thought it would be fun to have a contest. Maybe it would bring out some hidden talents and ideas.

I asked Jackie about this last year. Unfortunately she was not willing to take this on because the site is primarily a cake site. As a result of this, I started an informal cookie club for those members that like to bake cookies. Each month members bake and post cookies based on a theme. This has been going on for over a year. There are no winners or losers just for fun. It's open to everyone.

several people have inquired thru the cookie club about whether or not it is a contest.
then again...i would vote for nancy every month!!!lol
