Change Of Plan, Need New Ideas Please

Okay , so my plan of making the 5 tiered cake for a 5 generation party has changed. My client just wanted me to make a 5 tier cake in white icing with a simple border. They wanted to write each person's name on the "family Tree". But now they won't have time to do that. I said, i swear its no problem, I can put the names on it. But she said no, she doesnt want me to do that because its too time consuming. So after i tried to talk her into letting me do it, she decided to just write Happy Birthday Grandma on it. Any suggestions? i just can't picture that on a tiered cake....Any suggestions? I can now decorate in flowers or anything simple in light purples, pinks and greens...
Thanks for any advice!!!
I don't know how big your layers are but maybe you could put "Happy Birthday Grandma" on the first, third and fifth tiers. Then you could decorate the sides of the second and fourth tiers with cornelli lace, sotas or lattice work and add your flowers as needed. Good luck!!!
what about a gumpaste banner on the third tier that says happy birthday grandma? that way you could make a nice flower bouquet on top and small flower clusters on the different tiers.
Thank you for all the great ideas everyone...i love CC!! hehehe
