Ok, who has done one of these cup cake cakes? I think it's one of the greatest ideas - especially for taking to kids school !

Anyone share any tips on how to do these? I know you arrange the cup cakes in the shape you want, then what? You just frost completely over the top? What prevents the icing from falling between the little cracks inbetween each cupcake?

here's a great picture tutorial. i don't remember which member of cc made it but its helpful. i have yet to try one of these cakes but they look like fun!
