Here's my silly question of the day - I googled this and found lots of shopping sites for confectioner's glaze but could not find what this is used for. Can anyone offer a short explaination to me what this is / used for. TIA!

It can be sprayed or painted on items to make them shiny. Some gumpaste items are painted with a thinned glaze. It helps the metallics stick to the GP or fondant, and increase the shine.
