personal taste and for me it depends on the depth of the mold. If it is a inch or more of solid candy I might add a filling. For one the filling is usually cheaper and lessens the amount of candy melts needed, it is a nice suprise for the person eating it, and it is more impressive ![]()
I will pm you when I start doing this. I have a few different things I want to try, like "glueing" to halves together (still thinking of seashells).
My favorite of my grandmother's truffles were raspberry filling with white chocolate. Yummy!

oh looks like about 3 hours but my DH goes to Franklin WV alot to go trout fishing. Maybe next trip, we could do a DOS (day of sharing) while he fishes ![]()
