How Many Does A 9X13 Serve?

I am not sure how much a 9x13 serves. Anyone know where to look?

According to my chart, a one layer 9x13 cut into 2x2 pieces, will serve 24. I'm sorry, I can't remember where I got the chart, other than someone on here posted it.

Serving sizes, batter amounts, icing amounts can all be found in the on this chart from Wilton.

it's math!!!

determine size of slice desired
(my family oh about 4x4!!!)

divide size of slice into the measurements of the two sides and round result DOWN to nearest whole number (truncate for all those math majors out there!)

so in my family
9 / 4 = 2
13 /4 = 3

the multiple the results for the number of servings

2 x 3 = 6

more normal size of 2x2

9 / 2 = 4

13 / 2 = 6

6 x 4 = 24

----

this method works for all rectangular (aka sheet) and square cakes.
