Since I'm just starting out with my cookie decorating and I'm ready for the business as soon as I'm having my kitchen inspected and passed, I need to know when is the most popular time people ordering cookies from now to New Year's Day? The events for this year are:
*Wedding
*Labor Day
*First Day of School
*Fall season
*Halloween
*Thanksgiving
*Christmas
*New Year
Based on your past experience, which event is the most busiest for you?
i would have to say that christmas was pretty huge. a lot of people are giving cookies as gifts or thank you's. for me graduation is the biggest time followed by christmas.
Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter have been the most popular for me! I am already thinking of my game plan for the Christmas holiday. I was jsut getting started last year at Christmas and had tons of orders. THis year, I am sure I will have more! Bring on the $$$$$
The busiest cookie order day for me has been Valentines Day!
Same for me.....no other holiday could touch my Valentine's Day orders! Mother's Day was a close second, with Christmas being third!
Mine would definately be Valentine's Day. I finally had to stop taking orders because it got so crazy!
surfergina-congrats on your new business venture....
I think Christmas was the busiest for me, followed by Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Halloween. During the summer(my slow time) I really try to concentrate on the wedding/birthday market.
I can see why Cambo is busy for Valentine's Day. Your cookies last year were adorable!!! The 'lips' were great!
Wow! Now I get the ideas. I will be working on Christmas cookies and take pictures for my website so my customer can "shop" for cookies. Boy, am I glad it's almost August and I have times to practice - whew! I can't wait for Valentine's Day since it's my favorite holiday.
