I watched the preview on the www.we.tv site and I don't know if I can sit and watch an hour of that. After she slapped the cake from her MOH's hand, she's lucky she didn't get slapped, too!
I'm recording the Wed episodes in case I need a good laugh later this week.
Yeah, it's only flour, eggs and milk! Baking cakes is sssoooooo easy!
Our paper today had another thing about the fake cakes. Evidently, the decorating is the only expensive part, since you know your grocery store begs you to take home all the eggs, flour and milk for free. 
I can go to Home Depot and buy all the stuff I need to build a house, you know, it's only lumber, plaster and drywall. Only I don't know how to actually build a house! But you give a bride an Easy Bake Oven and she's Betty-frickin'-Crocker. Okay, my weekly rant is over. I hope she got an ulcer from all that cake stress.

What a classic! But you're right ..... they see the cost of flour, eggs and sugar and think that's the only cost to the cake. (I get the same kinda thing in catering, too.)

Just saw it. Yikes, she was wonderful. 
My SIL & BIL did that for their wedding. Each table had a beautiful little cake & the couple who had been married the longest had the honor of cutting it. However she was not delusional enough to make them herself. But it was different & a great idea. Since we were sitting with all my Hubby's brother & their wives we got to cut it cause we had been married the longest, even if it was only by 6 months. 
I've watched it three times now. She just gets more charming each and every time. I'd love to be there thirty years from now to see what she thinks of herself all over tv being a drunken you-know-what. Her parents must be soooooooo proud of their little girl.
