I apologize! I thought it was Saltines and condensed milk (lol..thats what it tastes like! icon_smile.gif) but its Club crackers and a milk-like mixture

heres the recipe:

ALmond Cracker Candy

1 package of Keebler Club Crackers (30 crackers)
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Slivered almonds (a little more than 1/2 cup)

Grease a cookie sheet. Place crackers flat on the cookie sheet and sprinkle with almonds. In a saucepan, melt the butter, add sugar and vanilla, and bring to a slow bubble. Remove from heat and drizzle mixture over crackers and almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove immediately. Place cookies on waxed paper.

these are SOOOO yummy icon_smile.gif You can also add chocolate chips to the mixture before you bake it! icon_smile.gif

Enjoy!!

I have never heard of them! Please tell me what type of chocolate you use. I am definitely making them for an upcoming family party.

When I coat pretzels, I use Nestle milk chocolate morsels.

My gramma used to make graham crackers filled with frosting and dipped. They get all soft from soaking up the moisture in the frosting...

OO, while we're on the topic of goodies, I have something to share lol!

At got them from my bakery a couple of times, they're called chocolate chippers.

2 chocolate chip cookies sandwiched with a ton of peanut butter in the middle. To top it off, they were covered halfway with chocolate and I think, drizzled with white chocolate.

Y'all are talking about all this chocolate dipping and I'm trying to peacefully co-exist with a tub of leftover whipped ganache from the weekend in the house and its SINGING to me..."try me on a cracker...dip cookies in Meeeeee" I may have to make a cake just to shut it up!

(of course it also works just as well on a spoon! shhhh!)

I have a rally good treat. You mix two blocks of melted almond bark with a 16 ounce box of golden graham cereal, a bag of miniature pretzels and a jar of salted peanuts. Pour into several cookie sheets and let harden and then break into pieces and enjoy. I like making these for parties and I'll put them into colored paper bags and spread them all over the tables for the guests to eat. Hope you enjoy.
