Hello .. well I just attempted to make cake balls .. I had white cake scraps, threw in chocolate chips, the confectioners sugar, the cocoa, and french vanilla creamer .. mixed it in the KA, but then when I went to form the balls, they didnt roll into pretty round balls .. they were more like gooey globs icon_sad.gif right now I have them on wax paper drying out .. but is it too late? Did I somehow ruin whats supposed to be a very easy tastey treat?? icon_redface.gif

sounds like you may have used too much creamer. Are they really wet?

Most cake balls that I have made have not been round as a ball. So yours must be just fine. Taste them. I then coat them with chocolate that has been melted and really soupy. If it gets thick add some shorteneing or candy wax or paramount crystals. Have fun.

well they are wet thats for sure .. but they are not dripping by any means .. I started with just a little creamer, but I wasnt getting anywhere, so I added more just a little at a time .. any chance they might dry out some so I can dip them in chocolate?

If mine are a little wet, I just pop them in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes. This also makes dipping them easier.

HTH

Chocolate candy melts are what I use and everyone seems to like them. I know you can use any other dipping chocolate/vanilla/butterscotch/etc. that you prefer.
